Youth Sail Camp
June 17 - 21, 2024
Participants at sail camp have the opportunity to learn basics sailing skills or refine their skills on Optimists, Sunfish, and other boat types. Campers learn safety and seamanship, develop responsibility as they conduct themselves on the water and on shore, working together with their peers and adult instructors. Our volunteer, US Sailing certified instructors offer age and skill appropriate instruction using the US Sailing certification standards.
The 2024 application period is now closed. If you would like to be placed on a waitlist please email

Volunteer for Sail Camp
The smooth operation and low cost of sailing camp depends upon the parents and club members volunteering in a variety of ways: instructors (certification necessary), assistant instructors, safety boat operators (license necessary), dock assistants for Opti sailors, rig & launch assistants, nurse/first aid assistants, last day picnic coordinator, photographer, or providing general help. You will have the opportunity to indicate availability and preference on the application form. Volunteering does not improve your child's chances of acceptance into camp.
